• Top 2 teams from each group qualifies to the Super Eights
• Top 4 from Super Eights to play in the semi finals

Group A : South Africa, West Indies and Bangladesh
Group B : Australia, England and Zimbabwe
Group C : New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Kenya
Group D : India, Pakistan and Scotland

Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban have been chosen as the venues for the matches to be played in September.
