Election Manifesto - Agnel

My beloved FEzens,

How do we make use of $ 100 effectively? How can it help FunEnclave and more importantly its members? I have to find the best answers for these 2 questions to convince you all.

The following are somethings that you would see on FunEclave in the near future. I put myself in the shoes of a normal FEzen and was asking myself what would I need? What do those elite FEzens deserve? Hence I've come up with a Q & A type manifesto.

#. What will Agnel do with $100 ?
So far, each contest on FE has just one winner. When I organize these events, they wouldn't have just 1 winner alone. In other words, not just one prize. But most of the participants would end up winning something. In order to facilitate this, I'm planning to organize just one huge event commemorating our 3rd anniversary. Yes, that's right. Coming July we celebrate our 3rd Anniversary. Atleast 3 winners and 2 consolation prizes will be given. Nickels would be awarded fairly to all the winners and participants. Most of the budget is likely to be allocated to this alone contest.

#. What will happen to the remaining amount?
$ 100 is a huge amount and so I will spend it very wisely. Since our community is very small, I will have enough time to listen to each of your suggestions of how the remaining amount can be utilized.

My suggestions would be :
1) I believe in saving for the future if we have anything left. So some amount can be saved for future contests to have better prizes.
2) Spend money on buying plugins for shoutbox to have a better user friendly experience.
3) Use the money back in FE by investing in new products.
4) Donate to the needy on behalf of all you folks!

# What prizes can we expect?
Again it will be done after consulting you my dear folks. You will have a huge say in the decisions I will make for the community. Gift vouchers, RS passwords and if the members wish, direct cash into your paypal accounts. You can choose what you want to buy with that money you won. If you want your winning cash to be donated for the needy, we can do that as well

# Plaza and cost of items?
Another big issue with FE of late has been Plaza. The nickels have drained but the cost of most of the items in Plaza are the same. I will make sure each FEzen is happy with the new reasonable costs for the items you buy. Currently, donation has 30% tax on it. I will make it tax FREE

# Nickels
People have complained in the recent past that they have gone broke. Well, I will loan out money to give you'll a second chance to make nickels for a better living on FunEnclave

# What kind of contest will Agnel organize?
Each one is special and is talented in a different way. I will make sure that every single participant is given the opportunity to express themselves in the way they want. This is going to be a big surprise. Hold on until then

# How many days will I have to prepare?
I've heard complaints that people didn't have enough time to prepare and participate. Well, as soon as I take over, I will make sure you'll have atleast a month to prepare. I guess 30 days is a reasonably good amount of time to prepare.

# Will the deadline be extended?
Mostly yes, provided there is a valid reason. But I'm afraid there will be some reduction in points . I'm sure I'm being just to the ones who planned and executed on time . Fair play guys

# How will the winners be decided
Like never before, the members will decide who will win the contest. Polls will be set aside and members can choose the one they think is the best

# Private groups to resolve issues
What is a community without conflicts? Well, FE is a close-knit community. Almost everyone knows each other on this beautiful paradise. So, we are bound to have conflicts. I've tried my best efforts to resolve them and have succeeded in resolving many in the past. I'm planning to organize a private group where the conflict will be resolved. I've communicated with members through instant messengers and private messages. But never brought them together to share their views under one single roof. This is the first attempt in FunEnclave by me to resolve conflicts in the most justified and righteous manner.

# High Stakes
Due to our busy schedule some HS matches/games are being missed. In some cases, we don't get enough time to bet. I will make sure you'll have enough time to make up your mind before betting.

# Newsletters
Some of our old friends might be busy with life. I will make it a point to send out newsletters to make them envy us. They will feel bad for missing out on action and soon, we'll have them back. We'll see more action on FunEnclave . Original member work will be presented in the monthly newsletters to advertise the rich talent that FunEnclave is blessed with.

# Feedback
I love to hear feedback about the work I do. I have the highest regard for frank opinions which will only make me a better person and will help me serve better. I will make sure, I get in touch with you more often to see how you'll are doing and what you think of my work. Your suggestions will be given very high priority.

Agni saar,,,the manifesto is kool and most of the points mentioned are very interesting and would ask you to do more with the nickels as bluffy has mentioned in his manifesto....And we can have more contests awarding nicks instead of having it loaned to members.....Just a thought.Other than deciding the winners,what are the other powers that members will have???Cos i dont find one there...........

1 more thing agni...can we have few more contests too....cos i dont think 1 contest will be enough for fun unlimited???

Thanks Kimi. Let me address your points.
1. Nickels, a free flowing economy will never allow members to appreciate the value of nickels. Look how important nickels are right now? Well the same importance will be given. Let us be fair here, we earn our nickels the right way, we'll appreciate it more if we EARN WHAT WE DESERVE . I'm open for any suggestions which will improve the system. Please let me know. We can discuss. Other contestants can promise what they want. I'm giving what can be offered by FE in a very reasonable manner which you can appreciate.

2. More contests for awarding nickels is a very good suggestion. We can have them but the $ 100 package would be used for the one big contest. Imagine 5 members winning amounts in $ dollars

3. Other powers, I'm sorry you failed to read it well my friend. Most of the decisions will be based on a polling system. I'll be the one to execute them. That is all. Even now the voting power is in your hands and not mine

4. More contests yes. Why not? But the problem is I have just 45 days to earn your trust and to prove myself for another long term. Hence one big contest would be fair for everyone and each one will have enough time to participate(as I have already mentioned)

I would like to suggest another thing in betting like real bettings saar...but one staff has to spend the time during matches in that case...i mean small bets during the matches,,,live bets...say aftet the match begins,if gambhir bats and scores 30 + runs...can have a bet he will score more than 50 or less than 60 runs or so...like that...is that possible???
