Harry potter, after watching the movies i wanted to read the book and I did. So the movie did serve its purpose

LOTR gave me hope. I dared to dream. That the HP movies would be close to the LOTR movies.

But they failed miserably. All of them. Actors, directors, writers, screenplay writers, producers, casting directors. All of them.

I was against the idea from the beginning. But after watching LOTR, I actually had hope that the series would improve.

It has just degenerated miserably.

I am one of the biggest Harry Potter fans you'll find. But I have decided never to watch a HP movie again. NEVER.

I watched the first 3 parts... just loved the movies and the magic. Then i started to read the books and in 2 weeks read from Book 1 till 6

. Though it is difficult to bring everything into one movie that would span for 3 hours max, they DID their best.

It is a well known fact that the movies can't be as good as the book. Learn to appreciate what ppl do after so much of hard work! If you feel u can do better then do it and call all this CRAP!

My policy is, if you cant do something right, dont do it instead of doing it half heartedly.

So, I am sorry to offend anyone, but I'll always feel that the HP movies are a great waste of time and energy. I feel bad for the idiots who involved themselves in the movies.

The HP books are lovable for the details or the magic world and for the humour and the chemistry between the different characters. Nothing is shown like that in the movies.

I loved the first movie. The reason many Harry potter fans don't like the movies is probably because a lot of portion from the book has been cut from the movies , but then thats expected. I think they have done a fine job with all the films.
