Katrina Kaif inks 6 crore film deal with Studio 18

Model-turned-actress Katrina Kaif has inked a two-film deal with Studio 18 for Rs 60 million (Rs 6 crores). Kaif now joins the ranks of Bollywood actresses like Aishwarya Rai and Kareena Kapoor in terms of fees. This means that Katrina will now charge 3 crore a film thats just 50 lak(err just?

) behind Kareena Kapoor and a whopping 3 core beind Aishwarya in per movie fees.

This comes in the wake of 4 back to back hits last year that Katrina delievered including "Namaste London", "Apne", "Partner" and "Welcome"

Studio 18 CEO Sandeep Bhargava added, "We have signed Katrina for two films. Besides being hardworking, she has matured as an actress a great deal. But beyond that I can't reveal any details of the deal."

I can understand Kareena, but Aish charging 6 crore for what?

I can't recall a single hit that she has delivered. And taking a swipe at Katrina, i think everyone will agree that she just cannot act

Dunno about Apne(i think it did well in Punjab and Haryana

for obvious reasons

) but Welcome was a real bad movie. Stale jokes and bad bad acting.
Even i was surprized that it was declared a hit. On a closer look though, its been a massive hit in NRI market.
