Amit had such superb voice. A great singer. And he gets out based on votes. Absolute shocker. Never never expected this.

Whats disappointing is that in the end Amit has a better chance to actually sing in bollywood. He is the better singer, Indian Idol not withstanding.

Btw Chang was my favorite so anyway i don't care

This is the Worst Thing that could have happened to the Indian Music Scene.U Vote & Make a Non-talented Bathroom Singer to a Indian Idol.Completely biased Voting..which has taken everyone by complete surprise..I dont think Indian Idol3 or for that matter any Musical TALENT Hunt is about searching Real Singer & talents anymore after this. It's All about Votes,TRP's & Evil evil Money!!!

Anyway, II Sucks, all Good singer got out just for one Lame Bathroom Singer!!! It's happened Now thrice in a row..II1, II2 & II3 ..It's NOT a Talent Hunt anymore,..but rather a BAD Voting competition!.....& the REAL Music fans bites the dust , while the Media channel & telcom partner goes laufing to the Bank,filling their coffers!

Actually I think it might have been a good thing. I haven't seen Indian idol (ever really) but I do know that the last two winners didn't make anything of themselves. If the runner up (and Chang) is really good then he might just break in to bollywood playback while the other fool is doing a one year contract for a pop album.

Thank god its over.. I just can't stand this show

the result was shocking for me too, definitely amit is a better singer than prashant.

Amit has been praised by Javed Akhtar so much he is likely to get break in Bollywood soon.

BTW there was curious performance by 3 finalist and sohail and Mini declared that a boys band was formed if its really true then i am sure its gonna rock the indian pop scene the singers were Parleen, Chang, Abhishek, Suhail(sohail).
