 The site of the United States Grand Prix is the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home to the Indy 500. This course, first constructed in 1908, hosted its first F1 World Championship race in 2000. A new infield section was added for the F1 World Championship race, and is used in combination with the existing oval course.
