| | | | Istanbul Park |  The first-ever Grand Prix of Turkey was held in 2005 at the Istanbul Park Circuit, situated in the suburbs of Istanbul. One of the features of this ultra-modern circuit is that it is one of the few on which the race is run counterclockwise. The course has several difficult corners, including Corner 8 and its multi-apex configuration. The circuit also features many elevation changes, presenting a formidable, difficult challenge for the drivers.
