The Grand Prix of Italy is set at the Monza Circuit, located in the outskirts of Milan. This course, also called the “Holy Land of F1,” is laid out with long straights, connected by chicanes and corners, boasting the highest average speeds of all of the F1 circuits. Naturally, the circuit calls for a high percentage of time on full throttle, as well as severe braking in the corners. The key to quicker lap times here is the skillful use of curbs in the corners.
