Give me a final proper software flowchart(you guys know how to make a flowchart i hope,

Mentioning features, actual flow required as the user comes and selects team.

eg:
MrA comes to main page
(What does he see on main page?)
|->He registers(if not registered) else goes to step3
||->He goes to his control panel (what does he see here)
|||->He sees present matches, he clicks select team

BTw it shouldn't be tough as long as you don't make it insane in the first version. KISS in first version and then on we can increase complexity.

And most importantly, this will need to be managed, add players, set player price etc and then update scores, and i will not do that.


Btw what kind of entry would be needed. eg after match is over, what kind of an entry form for that match(to enter results is needed?) eg 1 will be select who won, then what else?

I can give u the algo
not the flowchart

1-> okk
2-> he sees the rules & regu in CP. Like what pts 2 b awarded 4 what & all those
& obviously his current team & score
3-> [NP]in a drop down box he sees the players available
& below the pts available
4-> [SP]the graphical view.. He gets 2 choose 2 Gk, 5 defs, 5 mids, 3 FWDS
dont worry 1 gk,def,mid&st will be subs
5-> now he starts choosing his team.
6-> Suppose after choosing x no. of players his reamaining pts. is y & the players whose value is <y will be made inactive.
6-> he chooses a capt & his subs. capt brings him twice the pt.
Submits the team 4 a week

The way i see it, this is rewarding you for players.
My idea is this.

Have match iternary and then reward the members also if the predict the win, draw, loss.
Also give them points for a player who scores a goal.


About the assist, i dunno how this will be worked out. Are these details available from a reputable site?

All these are highly disputable fields. Who will decide if he was around for 45 mins or not. And against whose fault was it for a goal.

BTW that espn system is overtly simplistic apart from that javascript based addition of players, this was way too simple i liked the cool graphics though at the back and player jerseys and names..

We will first choose our team from available players. Keep the regs open for a couple of weeks more and then close them. After that, we can have the transfer funda.

Also, we can give points for appearance and clean sheet. Forget the minutes waala funda. If the player appears, points shud be awarded.
