Am trying a new image resize..

is the present display better or the one with scroll was better?

No scroll plz for Big HQ images !
it murders the image impact...

Without scroll is just fine for Big size images...but u can still implement scroll for UHQ Hot link Pics!

see right now image is resized via javascript.
you click on it to get full size image.

earlier it was a scroll bar that used to come up and the image could be seen via scrolling(all this is true only if the image dimension exceeds the container of message area dimension(this is to prevent images breaking up styles.

My question.. is the present way better or was the earlier way better?

PRESENT Way is REALLY REALLY EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!

(infact i didn't first notice it!

)

Just make sure that those images that "doesNOT exceeds the container of message area dimension" DOES NOT fall into the javascript image display!

have seen that in many sites,even if it doesnot exceeds the preset image dimension of the container,it falls into the Java dispaly trap!

so hence the caution!.....but the New java style u r currently implementing seems to be real Cool.Thanks for that!!!

naa i have checked that many times and its fine i think.
I will try to see if a lightbox can be added instead of opening the link.

Ok guys,
i have implemented something real cool

(or anyway its from a coding perspective pretty damn cool

)

New resize image effects have been added. Now if an image larger than 750 width is posted, it won't stretch the page. Instead you can click it to see the full image in an ultra cool lightbox

To close the image:
1) Hit escape key
OR
2) Click anywhere outside the image that opens in lightbox.

I am pretty sure this is first for any forum
