^ Why should spammer get an award ? Rather keep the contributor award intact and award it to the person with maximum number of posts in selected sections. Or better award it to the person with maximum number of threads that week.

Gamer of the week award should be easy , i would also like to see a Gambler of the week award which should be awarded to the person winning the most nickels that week. Be it through casino or High stakes but not Donations.

Also I strongly suggest that there be a Member of the month award. It can easily be the most prestigious award and it needs to be manual. The MOM should be decided through a public vote. I am sure people can atleast vote once a month

As far as the thread of the week award is concerned , i suggest there be a public vote every week to decide the winner. Rating the thread wont work because most people forget to rate threads. Also as it is not public ... it can be controversial. Winner by the number of views is also not the best option as pointed out by agni , threads with catchy titles are bound to get hits. But i still feel that Mods should decide the thread of the week , as it is they don't have much to do

That's not a bad idea and I've seen it work very effectively on other sites, (mind you, it's these threads which have the highest hits............ )

k wat cud be done is select 5 most active or most viewed threads and then do voting and by voting i mean u needn't do any coding but just create a thread for it and members can vote in the thread finally a mod can check the result after 3 days or so and declare the winner

For god sake , plz send a pm when deleting one's threads.

Well , i will once i know the true meaning of that. I don't get this ... NSFW images in the gallery and adult jokes are allowed in FE whereas when i post such stuff which btw contained no nudity it gets labeled NSFW and my thread vanishes without even informing me about it. Look i am not against the mods deleting threads or posts for that matter but i would certainly like to be informed when such a thing happens. I mean is it so freakin hard for the particular mod who deleted the thread to send a polite pm informing the thread creator the reason why his thread is being trashed ?

^^ this is the 3rd time this issue has been raised and again I am supporting bluffy on this. Yet we receive no response?
We can't take "It is for fun, we are a fun site, we don't need to PM the thread creator" as an answer

It is damn rude and to be very frank it shows that the staff really don't respect the member

Look , I can understand not sending a PM for a deleted post but trashing a thread ... i mean com'on ... how often does that happen anyways , it takes time to create a thread ... the least you can do is let the thread creator know why his thread has been trashed.

And i would also like to know what exactly do you guys mean by NSFW. I seriously do not get it. We are allowed to post NSFW pics in the photoshoot section but any "Funny - no nudity" nsfw material is prohibited to post in the fun section ?
