The biggest day of EPL-2008 is here. The top four teams of English premier league clash against each other today and this could put the title race wide open.
Liverpool who have gone undefeated in seven matches will host the current champions Manchester United at Anfield while Arsenal who are three points behind the Red devils will travel to Stanford bridge to play against Chelsea,
who have a formidable home record.
Manchester United v/s Liverpool
With just eight games remaining in the season so far Manchester united can not afford to relax. While Cristiano Ronaldo has been in his goalscoring best the forward line up hasn't been firing off late. Rooney certainly needs some more goals under his belt to get back his confidence, while others including Loius Saha. The positive thing however is the form of Carlos Tavez, who is the second highest goal scorer for the red devils this season.
On the other hand spirits are high at Anfield and confidence is through the roof. The Reds have won seven in seven, are through to the quarterfinals of the Champions League and are one of the more likely teams to win the competition, and have daylight between themselves and local rivals Everton in the race for fourth place in the Premier League table.
This, after a season that could only be described as absolutely miserable up until midway through February. Rafa's side were languishing in the league, being surpassed by the likes of Everton and Manchester City at various times throughout the campaign.

The Gunners head into this afternoon's match having seen a five point lead crumble to a three point deficit, and knowing that any further slip up could very well be lights out on their title ambitions.
Chelsea host Arsenal knowing that victory will propel them above their London rivals in one of the most enthralling title races in recent memory.
