Mika left coz he was getting publicly humiliated. He said he was tired of racing and everything.... what a sissy...
Oh my god. get your facts straight, How did you get to that conclusion. Liking schumi is one thing, doesn't mean you say anything about Mika

And Safin, u know how and why the rules were even changed, after Schumi's and Ferrari's domination!
ahh fianlly i read ferrari in your reply. i was wondering are you trying to pull up schumi at the expense of ferrari.

And whoever told that a 7 time champion can't be compared?

We all though there will be no other man like sampras in tennis, can we say that now. Today there is no other man like fedrer. At any rate i haven't compared anyone. I have only said that If you guys harp on schumi, Mclaren can well harp on Mika. We don't even have to now. Two of the best drivers in F1 are with Mclaren now. And Mclaren doesn't say that Mclaren was built or saved by those.

Anyway opinions can't be changed. Schumi fans will think he is best, we will think he sucks and there are better teams. Point is Schumi is history. Look ahead(that was the thing i started with on the second page

Yep and Schumi haters will always think otherwise. Ofcourse, a person who drives into the grass 4 times in a single race, when his car is clearly fast is "taking a walk in the park"
I guess thats exactly how you accumulate points if you want the championship!!!

And as far as Schumi is concerned, atleast he retired on time.
And I am sure that you have a perfect explaination why the thread runs into pages just mentioning Ferrari and Schumi and that doesnt happen mentioning other drivers and other teams.

You cannot deny facts, Schumi rocked!!! He made the sport better, popular and interesting (as what every good sportsman must do) and in the process broke lots of records and was an excellent driver. The drivers currently in F1 may have the potential to come close to him, but not to overtake him.

And since you ran out of "space" or "argument material", you dragged Tennis into this??

Put Kimi in that ferrari and he would have been untouchable also. Again i can't keep on harpind the same point about the team being better than the man. I won't say anything on that now.
And Kimi is in McLaren right???

^arre he meant the ferrari that schumi drove in his "era"
btw, i thought this one's supposed to be the Canadian Grand Prix thread and not mika v schumi or mclaren v ferrari.

anyways, here's my thought on yesterday's race...it was eventful! the best timepass race of the season this far. it had everything... on to the performances...hamilton was superb and he deserved to win. alonso was pathetic and that 7th place suits him just fine.

massa was downright idiotic (including ferrari) to have thrown away that position...a tactical blunder and well deserved. kimi was hopeless as seen on numerous other times through out the season. i can't believe that he hasn't learnt how to get his car off the starting line. barring australia, he has always gifted his starting position to his opponents. add to that, his reluctance or inability to overtake even the slowest of cars still beats me but thats another matter altogether.

i somehow get the feeling that he still isn't able to gel well with the ferrari team, his mechanics and engineers. ferrari always seems to have the best strategies reserved for massa. you don't even have to search for a proof...just remember yesterday's first pit stop under safety car period and you'll know what i'm talking abt. ferrari's biggest loss thus far has been ross brawn..their numero uno tactician, the ferrari master mind..and i know ferrari are missing him more than anyone else. mclaren on the other hand are seemingly makin all the rite moves!

drive of the day....undoubtedly takuma sato! his overtaking maneuvers were a treat...really! maybe he can take time out to teach alonso and kimi how its done.
