One of the best qualifying sessions of the year, if not the best.

Kimi had it in the bug till such time Webber pulled the coup of the season for the Red Bull racing But awesome drive by Kovalainen at the end. I had given up any hopes of a mclaren on first row after the stupid gravel track drive of Ham but Heikki made the day for Mclaren.

What a race, Kimi and Ham start from second row Gonna be awesome fun

Completely forgot about F1, with the Tour de France happening, plus some really good games going on in league.......... (my guys, Melbourne Storm play today against Canberra Raiders) where we could conceivably return to top of the ladder if we win..........

in the standings 3 drivers kimi hamilton and massa tied for first place with 48 points. i think this is one year where drivers seem to be more interested in throwing away advantages built up

Why did Kimi not change his tyres on the first pit stop? Lol and what was Massa doing Spinning Practice

Great drive by Hamilton though, would have been great if Heikki hadn't had his spin though. Idiot gave 2 places in the spin.

Overall, at halfway mark of the season, its looking pretty good and probably one of the closest f1 seasons in a long time with 4 drivers in position to win.

I'm still waiting for the race report from Ferrari to see which dunderhead made the decision. So far nothing on f1 racing live. Both Kimi and Alonso made same decision to keep tyres and both were forced to change tyres within 10 laps. I think it was due to the rain that came immediately after the pitstops, had it stayed dry it may have been a different story.

I think had Ross Brawn still been on the Ferrari pitwall things would have been different. It was brilliant the way he put Barrichello on full wets and immediately changed to intermediates when it dried up and gave Honda a podium place. Ferrari have shown that they arent as good at thinking on their feet which used to be something they have always been good at.

This race was a good chance for Kimi to have taken the championship lead had he stayed behind Hamilton. He was pretty cool and driving his own race for the most part and driving carefully. Only after the first pitstop, either it was too wet for his tyres or he got irritated but there were a few mistakes from him. Later once again he got his rhythm back
