He squandered his start.. Was below average in first stint and after second stint he didnt look competitive... Well what he says (Front Wing Damage) is correct and it affected his balance/speed then i cant say anything but if not then he just didnt give his best..

yup i too kinda felt that kimi lacks that last 10% to push that lots of drivers have. but having said that these days its mainly a points game so its better to come in a safe 3rd than make a risky move and crash out. i guess the turn 1 incident kinda scared him too the way heiki closed the door on him as he tried to pass

more than that i was wondering why massa left so much room and let hamilton pass. wonder if he was concentrating too much in front and didnt look in the mirrors

1). Kimi xouldnt push too much. His front wing was damaged. No question of him not being motivated enough or whatever. Last year he had a disastrous race at Monaco. He is going to rule there this year. MAssa isnt very good at the tight circuits.

2). Massa let Hamilton pass because he couldnt keep him behind him. Simple. He knew Hamilton was on a 3 stop strategy and knew the race was in the bag. No point in fighting in too hard and crashing out

That is true. But why was it fast ? Because he was ALWAYS running light on fuel. Not a level comparison, is it ?

Kimi could have pushed when he got out of the pits or even before that. He couldnt because his front wing held him back.
