French Grand Prix 2008

Kimi is on pole, Massa second. Hamilton qualified 3rd but will start from 13th because of the ten place penalty for trying to drive blindfolded in the Canadian GP.

Crybaby qualified 4th, Trulli 5th, Kovalainen 6th(moved upto 5th because of his teammate's penalty. Then he was given a 5 place penalty for impeding Mark Webber in the first qualifying session. SO, he'll start from 10th).

Kubica will start 5th. Webber from 6th, Coulthard 7th, Glock 8th and Piquet Jr 9th.

Force India actually qualified dead last but were saved from starting from 19th and 20th positions by Nico Rosberg who starts from 20th (because of his ten place penalty for driving with his eyes closed).

Trulli in 4th. Who could have expected that? BMW seem to have serious problems on this track.

Race *might* turn out to be exciting if Crybaby's car holds up. I hope it doesnt.

Ham is looking at an uphill struggle again. We need a crash at the front for him Or the rain to come down which is quite possible too. I see clouds all around

Btw my fav rural circuit I love france(my love for tour de france is not misplaced, can't imagine thay wanted to shut the race here )

Great start by the ferrari's

Alonso loses 2 places to Trulli and Kubica. Kovanlin loses heavily to 9th and Ham takes 3 place to 10th

Just when we had a awesome race with ham and Piquet, Ham gets a drive through, for overtaking outisde the race track I didn't think he gained any undue advantage over that one. Thats a stupid move, playing by the book, but stupid nonetheless

Very unfair. I dont like Hamilton but what is wrong is wrong. He didnt deserve that penalty.

Crybaby rejoins in 12th just ahead of Hamilton. His qualifying pace was just due to his light fuel load.

Hamilton overtakes crybaby beautifully!!

Now, Hamilton into the pits. He pits for 9.1 seconds.

Trulli and Kubica both make their pitstops in the same lap. Trulli still retains his 3rd place effectively. Actually in 9th. Kubica in 10th.
