January launch for new-look McLaren team

McLaren have announced that their 2007 team presentation will take place early next year at the Spanish circuit of Valencia.

The three-day event should provide a first glimpse of the successor to this season’s MP4-21 car, as well the team’s 2007 livery, which may well see a move away from McLaren’s familiar silver, in line with new title sponsors, Vodafone.

McLaren’s full 2007 driver line-up should also be present. The team have yet to confirm who will race alongside Fernando Alonso next season, but an announcement on this is expected by the end of December.

McLaren’s Valencia presentation takes place from Sunday, January 14 to Tuesday, January 16, with the length and location of the event suggesting it is likely to include at least some shakedown testing.

hmmm....Ferrari is losing vodafone to mclaren..so they'll have to get new title sponsors and a possible change of livery next season. renault already announced ING as their major sponsor and a departure from traditional blue and yellow colors is expected. so, we mite have all the top teams with new looks next season.
