And as was mentioned, here is the confirmation
Auto racing chief Mosley says he'll stay put despite sex scandal - USATODAY.com
Max Mosley said Tuesday he will remain president of auto racing's governing body despite calls for him to resign because of his role in a sex scandal.
He wrote to officials at his organization, acknowledging his embarrassment and asking for their support. A copy of the letter was obtained by the Associated Press.
"I have received a very large number of messages of sympathy and support ... suggesting that my private life is not relevant to my work and that I should continue in my role," Mosley wrote. "I am grateful and with your support I intend to follow this advice."
He termed the report a "wholly unwarranted invasion of my privacy and I intend to issue legal proceedings against the newspaper in the U.K. and other jurisdictions."
The Press Association: Mosley determined to stay on
"You can, however, be certain that I will not allow any of this to impede my commitment to the work of the FIA."
Max Mosley denies Nazi claims in orgy scandal - Times Online
Max Mosley, the president of the FIA, has said that he spoke in German during a sado-masochistic orgy with five prostitutes not because he was fantasising about being a Nazi but because several of the prostitutes involved were German speakers.

Actually there shouldn't be a need of all that.
If he had even a shred of shame left in him, he would have resigned. How can the fellow go about his business after this beats me. He is gonna be jeered at regularly now.

Re: Mosley ain't quitting after Sexploitation expose
Max Mosley wins privacy lawsuit
After the sting of scandal, Max Mosley can feel the balm of victory. A British judge ruled Thursday that a tabloid newspaper breached the motorsport chief's privacy with a story claiming that a sadomasochistic orgy he took part in had a Nazi theme. The News of the World faces a legal bill of almost 1 million pounds ($2 million) after the judge ordered it to pay damages and Mosley's legal costs, as well as it2s own.
Mosley said the ruling proves that his now-famous interest in sadomasochism is a purely private matter. But some legal experts doubt the financial blow to the newspaper will be large enough to deter the prying of Britain's scandal-hungry tabloid press.
High Court judge David Eady ruled that Mosley, president of the governing body that oversees Formula One racing, "had a reasonable expectation of privacy in relation to sexual activities (albeit unconventional) carried on between consenting adults on private property."
The judge said he had found no evidence that Mosley's role-playing encounter with five women "was intended to be an enactment of Nazi behavior or adoption of any of its attitudes."
"There was bondage, beating and domination, which seem to be typical of S&M behavior," Eady said.
News of the World now faces a hefty bill. Mosley's legal costs are estimated at about 450,000 pounds ($900,000), the paper's own legal costs at 400,000 pounds ($800,000) and it also must pay Mosley 60,000 pounds ($120,000) in damages.

I kind of agree with the judgement. This is typical tabloid news. As long as it does not affect others, why blow up issues.
