Signs of continuing tension between defending champion Fernando Alonso and his young tyro team-mate Lewis Hamilton and the McLaren team were clear to see again here on Thursday.

Alonso was evasive and looked sad during a pre-race news conference in advance of Sunday's French Grand Prix. He frequently referred to his team-mate as Hamilton, rather than Lewis,
