On the verge of missing a flight, seven-time F1 Champion Michael Schumacher jumped behind the wheel of a taxi and arrived in time at the airport with his family, according to a report emanating from AFP.
Taxi driver Tuncer Yilmaz, interviewed by daily Munich newspaper Abendzeitung, said Schumacher asked him if he could drive the car himself. The now-consultant at Ferrari was accompanied by his wife and two children.
"I found myself sitting in the passenger seat with Schumi at my side. It was incredible," explained Yilmaz.
"He made incredible passes and drove at high speed through the curves," added the taxi driver, who was granted a good tip in addition to his fare.

He was driving on the Autobahns 
So, all is forgiven !!
And give the man a break . He lives in Switzerland. Worst country for driving when it comes to speed limits and stuff. |

should have driven taxis all his life  am sure would have become a famous taxi driver and left F1 alone

And in case if Alonso had driven the taxi, he would have blamed the taxi driver for not being co operative, he would have blamed the the taxi company that they are deliberately sabotaging his attempt to reach the airport and after all high speed and stuff, he would have made sure that there is a traffic cop in the car to look after the taxi driver and after all this he would have left the taxi after going halfway to the airport and caught another taxi |
