though nobody has confirmed it yet,.,,

EDIT: It is not true. McLaren are not expelled. They will continue to race in 2007 and 2008

i too hope its not true just for the sake of f1
only an exclusion frm 2007 chmpship shud be fine imo

This however has yet to be confirmed as deliberations continue at the Paris venue. Reports from Spa Francorchamps suggest that the team are packing up for the day...

Well F1 is not gonna die any time soon
Keep in mind Renault have massive budget behind them for next year.

If there was indeed Mclaren involvement in that case then I dont think FIA has any other choice but to punish them. If they were to allow them to continue then this would have become a trend.

Its all over the news also now. Every channel is running this story, national and international.

Now it will be interesting to see what cry baby decides

Also officially its not confirmed that they will loose constructor's points. Driver's points stay which is bizzare to be honest. Also $00m penalty to Mclaren. Now thats not small amount and it will mostly affect their development for next year.

Thumbs Up Verdict out: McLaren loses all constructors' points - drivers safe
The FIA World Motor Sport Council has disqualified McLaren from the 2007 constructors' championship and fined the team $100 million, but Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso can continue to battle for the drivers' crown.
After a day of deliberations at the hearing in Paris, the governing body decided to punish the team for breaking the sporting regulations by possessing confidential Ferrari data.
But while the decision to exclude McLaren from the constructors' contest hands that title to Ferrari, McLaren's drivers have not received any penalty.

Hamilton and Alonso's battle for the world championship will therefore continue unaffected in the remaining four rounds.
The team's $100 million fine is the largest in motorsport history.

McLaren will also have to present its 2008 car for examination by the FIA before the start of next season.

The team is due to address the media in Paris within the next hour.
