1. Never EVER be the one to check out what the strange noise from downstairs is

2. If you're the girlfriend to your group's leader, either break up with him, or be prepared to be killed/included in several close calls to death

3. When you start getting threatening messages telling you to leave, take their advice, and do just that!

4. If you're being chased by a monster, or homicidal guy, never run through a forest and assume you are safe. Whatever is chasing you will ALWAYS find you within the next few hours

5. Never be the one carrying the gun

6. Never be the person walking at the back of the group

7. If one of the people in your group are killed/taken away, don't sit there like idiots staring at the dead body/place where he used to be. MOVE ON!

8. Never use any big, destructive weapons against monsters. It's the small things (i.e. jackknife, shard of glass) that will kill it

9. You know that something bad is going to happen when you sense somebody following you, and nobody else believes you.

10. Don't EVER assume that zombies aren't real. And especially don't ever try to pull the zombie's 'mask' off
