Imo its better to drink more thank drink less of it.

But I have learnt my lesson.. Doc warned me that crystals may develop into stones if i don't start drinking more water.. 
So now, I am drinking close to 1.5 l |

I drink lots of it. In excess of 10-12 glasses everyday during Summer or when I'm working out. Everyone should drink at least 8 glasses.

1 glass of water a day is a sure shot candidate for "Kidney Stones"
I drink nearly 2.5 litres to 3 litres a day  even without workout, nearly 3.5 - 4 litres if I jog/swim
