Tips for preventing headaches! -Never look at the sun directly, especially between 7am in morning-4pm in evening. If you are out during this time, use sunglasses. It prevents from sun's harmful radiations to contact with your eyes to some extent!
-Do not work continuously on a computer for more than 1.5 hrs. Take a break for 15mins after that. Try to blink your eyes while working on computer. When playing games, try to blink intentionally because at such points there is an increased tendency to stare unblinkingly at monitor or television.
-If you feel your eyes are under strain, take a break. The best relaxation of your eyes is to stare at a distant or much closer object.
-Never watch television lying down. The best position to watch television is by sitting and your eyes should be preferably be at the level of the television screen.
-Breathing exercises help you breathe better and release the toxins in your brains which can cause headache.
-Use a pillow that's not too thick or too thin to rest your head. Too thin or too thick pillows can strain neck muscles when you are asleep. If the neck muscles are taught for too long, they will become stiff and this often precipitates as a headache. ---------------------------------------------- |
