After a clean 4-0 whitewash at the hands of south africa , this test series is India's only chance to salvage some pride. This is also a match for Virender Shewag and Sourav Ganguly to find their groove before the tougher battles ahead. Sehwag averaged just 9.66 in the three matches of the ODI series which India lost by an embarrassing 4-0 margin, raising questions one more time on his temperament and commitment. As for Ganguly, it would provide him an opportunity to come to terms with the conditions and impress the team management ahead of the 2007 world cup. India would take heart from the fact that the pitch at Wanderers Stadium is suited for batting though there is still the issue of coming to terms with one of the fastest bowling attacks in South Africa pressed against them. We can only hope n pray that India will be able to overcome the odds and start this test series with a victory. So guyz what are you watin' for ................ Bet on
