Chappel on why Ganguly does not get well with the team

Reporter asks "Greg, why did u have problems with Ganguly?"
Chappel says " It was not me. It was the team who had problems with
Ganguly"
Reporter asks "Thats quite a claim. WHy do u say so? what did he do?"
Chappel says " first of all, he bites his nails and with the same
hand he touces the players. U know how unprofessional that is? Then
worse than that is, he does not even warn us before removing his shirt
and waving to the crowd. U know he often forgets to use deodarant. He
wants to be the first to use the toilet. Its for some technical
reasons like these that the team does not like him"
Reporter runs out of the room.
Chappel when asked if he is overpaid

Chappels replies "Certainly not. I have lots of duties to do.
Firstly, I have the important task of taking the team to and from the
ground on the team bus. Then when i am on the ground, i have to stand
there in the heat and watch some guys batting and bowling. Then when
some of them asks comes up to me and ask "Where am i going wrong". I
ask them the same question back and they never bother me again. Then
when i feel tired of standing and doing nothing, i ask the people to
stand in a circle around me and hit the ball here and there and ask
the boys to fetch it for me. After all this i have to carry 2 plastic
stumps to the store room. Finally i have to give responsible answers
to the media."
A child-mother talk

Mother to child "WHo do u want to become when u grow up?"
Child says "greg chappel"
Mother is surprised. She asks him "why???"
Child says "Its cool to make millions without doing anything. All u
need to do is demand for a good home, good money, good food, take
credit for the victories of the team and put the blame for losses on
the team. The best part is u dont need to know Number order from 1 to
10 and get to do vacation with the Indian team to any place u want
and call it Boot-Camp"
Mother faints.
Chappel in a press conference after another huge loss

Reporter asks "Greg, what do u think abt the loss?"
Chappels says "There will be the odd loss here and there in cricket.
Its the team management who should answer"
Reporter asks "Greg, what do u think abt form of top batsmen?"
Chappels says "There will be the odd bad patch here and there in
cricket. Its the batsmen who should answer"
Reporter asks "Greg, what do u think abt form of bowlers apart from
Kumble?"
Chappels says "There will be the odd bad bowling here and there in
cricket. its the bowlers who should answer"
The reporter gets a bit upset.But he needs to continue
Reporter asks "Greg, what do u think abt form of fielders who seem to
be dropping catches?"
Chappels says "There will be the odd bad fielding here and there in
cricket. its the fielders who should answer"
By this time the reporter is very angry with the irresponsible
replies. He asks a tricky question "But all these are happening in a
single match. So who is to answer for all these?"
Chappel is adamant. He replies "The people of India and its
politicians are answerable"
Reporter loses his cool and says to fellow reporters "Come on Guys,
lets come after some more time. I think this is not the coach of the
Indian team. He's just some old man who has come to SA to mate with
the Baboons and find out the origin of "showing middle finger" from
them"
