Interview Responses (real life)

here are some of real life instances during campus placement interviews. these happened to ppl i know. Mind u, tensions and nervousness run real high during these times. so u shudnt be surprised if u get the silliest answer from even the classes toppers

1 - happened to a friend of mine:
Infy Interviewer (after a series of questions) : How do u vary the speed of the synchronous motor?
My friend: After a lenghty explanation, with examples and with a big grin of accomplishment, concludes his answer. The interviewer, after listening patiently, responds, "my friend, its a synchronous motor. U cannot vary the speed of a synchronous motor." Clean Bowled!
(Suffice to say, he still made it in that interview. With the next few questions, he completely bowled over the panel!!!)

2. happened to my classmate (Electronics & Communication branch). That semester we had a subject called "Professional COmmunication and Report Writing, basically a grammar-cum-letter-cum-thesis-writing english course.

TI Interviewer : What are the different types of communication?
My nervous friend: After thinking for a while - Oral and Written communication.
The whole panel burst out laughing. The answer they were expecting - Wired & WIreless Communication.

3. Happened to a friend's friend:
Mindtree Interviewer: Where r u from?
After patiently listening to the student's geographical and ancestral history, the interviewer responded - "I meant which branch u r from."

also our vivas were like this only....

in my operating systems with unix subject viva...i had told my classmate whtever the examiner ask...which topic u know.....dont say thisone(as i havent done that).........he was a topper he had done all.....

after a seies of out of sylabus questions the examine in frsutration asked wht o u ppl know...and that BS told ask me anything abt bankersalgorithm(and i was lik ohhh shit now i m gone).......in that also the examiner confused him...and told meare u getting what i am trying to ask........and my reply wasmadam...i got your question but this fellow(bS)is not getting wht u trying to ask...so the madam again went to him.......and i got out safe...i was happy i got higher marks than him...lolzz
