HI guys .. my father got a new Nokia 6500-s phone for himself...
disappointing battery life,it doesnt support sis files
the picture quality is really good.. and the sound also pretty much good...
the resolution is nice ...
but the battery life totally suckssss.
I didnt expect this out of nokia ... you need to recharege the phone everyday or maybe twice a day if your going to be extensively using it
damn...
and now i am starting to think my w810i kicks its ass ... though itsa 2mp

sis files are series60/symbian installer files. You can't expect a series 40 fone to support them mate. I have the same phone and sans the battery life i like the phone.

Ahhh, that's handy to know, I'd been looking at the 6500 slider myself, along with the 6110 and the Samsung U700. Haven't made my mind up yet, but I'll have to soon, as my existing phone is slowly dying on me..

ok guys.. after a month now the phone is starting come up with its problems....
well the main one being.. the camera after taking hardly evena single photo goes into standby.. and doesnt come out of it....
there is no mention abt it in the manual also.. and the nokia guys say.. that the software has to be.. reinstated..
and then coming to performance--- the phone hangs unexpectedly..
so i suggest dont make mistake of buying this phone...
