A new movie by Rang De Basanti Director, we all have high expectations then!!! The songs are wonderful, Sonam Kapoor is looking great in the movie, as shown in the promos, the movie would be romantic with religion issues, is what everyone expected.
Well for the first time, I agree with Taran Adarsh on his review scale.
The movie from second scene, was bore enuff to ask your money back from ROM[Rakesyh Om Prakash]. IMO everything just failed in that movie, everything !!!
The songs are good to listen, but they have forced the songs on us to watch them, which have no relation with whats going on in the movie. Rehna tu, such a Wonderful track sounded just another song. In the first half every 5 mins, there is a song, which will put you off with its direction
The Screenplay, doesn't exists in this movie, every scene was rushed upon and you would be saying, WTH, why did they edited so shoddily....Editing is the worse i have seen in recent times.
There was no particular scene in the movie, which you can remember or keep in your memory after the movie is over
IMO the director was confused in the Storyline of the movie, his point was correct, but he couldnt convince us for that. The characters in the movie lacked conviction of DJ, SID from Rang de Basanti. The Monkey Man topic was also not handled properly and felt incomplete, till the end.
The CLimax is worst part, where i think so it was similar to Matrix, where the person goes to heaven & returns back

Well i dunno, with such a brilliant Star Cast, ROM failed at many levels to bring out acting from them. It was like, every character was over doing themselves, and sorry to say, Sonam Kapoor & Abhishek Bacchan's chemistry, there's no biology, then forget about Chemistry.
The Movie feels Disjointed by an interval, as in there are two separate movies for 1st & 2nd part, many would feel so....
IMO, The Biggest Disappointment of 2009 is this movie.
Rating 4/10 for the lovely Masakali & other tracks which were not upto the mark depicted in the movie. you better listen to those tracks, they are good that way
