Just caught this movie recently and thought i'd post a short brief.. This is the story(?) where a high school kid (played by Lucas Black) is thrown from a world of flat out fast paced drag style racing into a world of precision drifing.
Story wise the movie is cliched and the style is an extension of the previous 2 movies.The various characters in the movie arent going to be in line for any awards but have done a decent enough job.
Though the movie at times seems to amble along without going any where its well worth watching for some cool drift sequences .Theres some nice camera work and Tokyo city provides a very nice backdrop to the chases.
Some things are a bit hard to digest like seeing a Ford Mustang drift
To sum up leave your brain at home enjoy the cars,chicks and action sequences
Watch for an unexpected cameo at the end
