SPOILER WARNING! - Storyline

Notes

The debilitated Eastern European setting perfectly fits the atmosphere created in a post USSR eastern european war crisis, with a general malady in people's behaviour seen in the kids who work in gangs robbing people along with the hostility shown by the local people to rich americans. However, the
country Slovakia has been wrongly depicted here. There has been no war in Slovakia since 1945, and it is a reasonably prosperous nation in the EU. Had it been a country like Romnia, Chechnya, or one of the Balkan states, it would have been much more believable.

None of the actors are exceptional in their roles, but you probably do not bother about their acting abilities while you are in a shock while watching the movie.

Warning

As i mentioned earlier, this movie is definately not for everyone, and obviously not for kids. The level of gore and torture is just unbelievable. The atmosphere of the torture house with the butcher assigned to discard off human body parts truly gives you the shudders. You need a strong stomach to be able to watch this movie due to the extreme amount of sadism, torture and gore. Dont blame me if you suffer from nightmares following weeks after watching this movie. You have been warned.
