Well well... another review... a little late but can help you decide whether to watch the movie on DVD or not.....
(Hey i just join the forum few days back... and this is one of the last films i saw....)
So, here we are... after the hilarious experience of part one... Manny, sid and diego are back to stole your hearts away... And they surely does... But hey iceage is not about the movie but that silly little squirrel Scrat trying to get that acron... In fact, it got to the point where I was becoming irritated by the movie's main plot -
I wanted to see the Scrat again... Hello there....Oh, anyways.... back to the movie plot...
PLOT :
The ice is melting... and its much sooner than the the herd expects... And they must find a safe refuge before its too late.... And only the vultures are happy about it...The only chance of survival lies at the other end of the valley.... So, all the herd moves toward a safe place to the other side of the valley and so does our heroes.....
So what, dude, sounds boring, but hey wait till you hear the following stuff....
Comments are passed about manny beign the last living mammoth, and soon become extinct.... And its really troubling him.... Deigo tries to console him but hey, you know how it feels, when you know you are all alone.... but alas, on their journey, they meet another female mammoth, named Ellie...
so problem solve.... Is that what you think....
Ellie lives with her two brothers... who unfortunately are possums (Crash and Eddie)... and so she is (
atleast that's what she thinks...)You would be laughing your heart out when Ellie tries to hide behind atree... or when tries to sleep upside down... But the best part is when Manny tries to make her realize she's a mammoth (
Its so damn funny)....
Manny : Look at you.. you are beautiful...
Ellie : Oh ya... So... What's so beautiful about me...
Manny : Hmmm.. I mean.. look at you... Hmm Your BUTT..
Ellie : What so beautiful about my BUTT...
Manny : Hmm... mmm.. They are... so... They are so BIg....
Manny : Dont you thing we should do something to prevent our species from beign extinct....
Ellie : Like What..... Oh no no no... I am not doing what you are thinking.....
And i dare not reveal other secrets... but you will throughly enjoy...... So our trio along with these trio set out to the safe place... and they reach there.... well almost.... with some trouble done by some pre pre dated water reptiles.... But hey no one kicks better than Manny when he is angry....whether the enemy is on land or in water.... remmeber the two rhinos in the starting of ICE AGE PART I getting beaten by Manny......
MUSIC :
One word... SUPERB... the vulture song.... the FIRE DANCE.. absolutely nice... Also... as the movie ends... dont just run out ... Listen to the Music beign played while the credits are displayed... Its a nice suprise package and the best of the lot...
PITFALLS :
Hey not all movie can be perfect... So is this one... Hey i want more of Scrat... Not a mere 10 minutes.... Heck... I want a full movie on how he tries to save and preserves the acron....
BEST SCENE :- Scrat fighting the bunch of PIRANAS to save his acron.....
- Sid singing a bunch of songs about Manny's extinction...
CONCLUSION :
Well nice movie for all people alike... well children dont laugh differently than adults.... do they... So if you have not watch it yet... go for it.... You would love the movie... but hey mind you ... This movie is not about Manny, Deigo or Sid but about SCRAT.... and his ACRON
