Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan rocked the scene with Mujhse Shaadi Karoge when they acted the parts of two guys in love with same girl and fighting over her as cats and dogs. Now in Jaaneman, they are again in love with the same girl, but this time its Salman helping Akshay to get the girl, and they do it in style and laughter.

The Movie starts with Suhaan [Salmaan Khan] being awarded with an award for best actor, ofcourse it being a dream, when he wakes up, it’s the phone ringing and its his chachu Bony [ Anupam Kher] on the line. It is cause salman’s has to pay up an alumani of 50lakhs to his wife. Suhaan who has no money to eat, now has to arrange 50 lakhs in 1 month or go to prison. At this time enters Agasthya [Akshay Kumar] who was the college nerd and loved Pia [ Preity Zinta], ofcourse Pia loved Suhaan,. On learning about Pia loving Suhaan, Agasthya leaves country and has now returned to tell Pia about his love. Pia however lives in New york now, Suhaan sees this as an opportunity to go abroad and help up Agastya to woo pia , and he wont have to pay 50 lacks also.

So Suhaan helps out Agasthya woo Pia, but in a sudden twist of events the movie takes a complete turn leading to a brilliant ending.
Watch out for brilliant acting by all the actors, the comic scenes, the dialogue delivery is excellent.


The direction is superb and some shots are brilliantly taken, the movie shows u an all new side of New york which leaves a mark on ur mind. The special effects are also very nicely done.

Screenplay is just great, Salmaan and Akshay perform brilliantly be it a funny or a sad scene. Preity zinta plays her part perfectly, and Anupam kher simply adds to the fun in his own way. How ever its Akshay's goofy laugh that makes u laugh even in the scene when he isnt saying anything at all, whereas Salman does his part with the attitude of his character who thinks he is a superstar and getups he keeps on changing.

The storyline which seems quite old and seen till the first half takes a dramatic twist in the second half and has a brilliant finish, how ever during the end part of the movie, the story seems a bit stretched and there are few loose ends also such as Preity zinta being taken around in a Limo [ wht for ]

Music is quite nice and soothing to the ears and fits the story well, but again, the songs are too long at some points and just seem to be stretching the movie.

Overall i would give the movie an 8.5/10
Its a grreat movie, which should be seen definatly for the laughs which may make u smile later on also.
