The Review of Jodha Akbar
What a Magnum Opus.....IMO after a long decade such movie has been made...
On Such large scale......It would have only been
ASHUTOSH GOWARIKAR Lets Start with the Story - *spoilers*
The movie begins with a War Sequence.....where child Hrithik (Jalaludin Mohamed) is small & is being crowned the King of Mughal on the battlefield, his senapati (Baira[h]am Khan) is hell bent on taking revenge on every king & his region. Even after surrendering he beheads them....which Hrithik (Jalaludin Mohamed) is strictly against since childhood....
On the otherside, child Aish (Jodha) is being engaged to some Rajkumar Ratan Singh of Ajabgarh
As Hrithik (Jalaludin Mohamed) grows up, his senapati is sending his messengers to every region & ordering the kings to surrender to Jalaludin Mohamed or face the Wraith
In the beginning every king thinks that he would fight rather surrender....
Hence, Hrithik's Entry as Emperor Jalaludin Mohamed,

He defeats the first King & the king surrenders, but Baira[h]am khan is not satisfied.....so he tries to behead the king, on which Hrithik intervenes......

Then, Hrithik's In Law (saala
) Sharifuddin Hussain (Nikitin Dheer)
*He's similar to THE GREAT KHALI of WWE
you have to see him in the final battle to believe it
He is the spoiled brat & thrives for the THRONE, even after Hirthik giving him a region to Handle, he demands more, but not directly, but deceivingly
Between Aish becomes the trade to maintain peace between Amer & Mughal Emperor !!!
Aish (Jodha) & Sonu Sood (Sujamal) are brothers & sisters, hence the bonding.
Sonu is deprived from the throne of Amer, hence to regain his lost family *Ijjat* he goes to each alternative to take revenge against Raja Bharmal (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) Aish's Dad !!!!
Thus marriage happens...as a mutual agreement.....Hrithik is kind enough to let Aish built a temple in the palace, also she is not forced to change her caste
*again awesome scene when they both meet for the first time !!!
Royally & lavishly the Marriage happens......
The movie turns interesting in that phase.....till interval.....when some misunderstandings happen due to Hrithik's so called mother Maham Anga (Ila Arun).
Post interval are some dull moments where you get quite ticked off by the romantic song again
Hirthik woos Aish back to his Palace.
The Song Azeem - o - Shaan - Shehanshah,
direction, choreography..... everything......
In that song itself Hrithik receives KNIGHTHOOD *ala*
AKBAR 
The climax, in the end all the misunderstandings between Hrithik & Sonu gets cleared....Aish & Hrithik's misunderstandings get cleared in the beginning of the post interval

The Final Battle between Hrithik (AKBAR) & Nikitin Dheer (Sharifuddin)
Its Magnanimous !!!
Hrithik looks so small in front of him...similar to Gerard Butler in 300 in comparison to Xersys

In the End all's well That ends well......
Everything smoothed out he is still the King & Ruling Emperor of India & she's the Queen of India {Mallika-e-Hindustan}

Now coming to the Cast & Crew -
Hrithik - Proven once again & he is a
KING !!!
Aish - Down to earth performance *all credit goes to Director*
Sonu - Excellent Performance
Nikitin Dheer - Stellar & Convincing Villian
Ila Arun - Best Performance of her career
Everyone else were also upto the mark !!!
Now comes the Sets -

Costumes -
Neeta Lulla Perfect
Music -
A.R.Rehman two tracks stands out background score was too loud, might be FAME were playing it loud
but nonetheless
background score.
Action -
Ravi Dewan convincing actions sequences, not showing any gross scenes
Now the Grand Daddy of all - DIRECTOR -
ASHUTOSH GOWATRIKAR
Take a BOW
He is the Man I am Saying
he did it to SRK in Swades, he did it to AISH & HRITHIK
churned out their best performances of their career.
Direction is Slick, just like you'll Wanted
Cons - though there are less cons , there are some story gaps, the misunderstanding starts just b4 interval & ends @ beginning of Post Interval.
Editing was required especially in second half.
B/w you'll can suggest few cons too...these were the cons in the movie IMO
FINAL VERDICT - 8/10
Go get the ticket, Do it for Hrithik's Best Performance, Aish's Down to earth performance & most of all ASHUTOSH's slick direction
P.S. - HRITHIK surely looks like he is the real AKBAR
