well.. yday watched the film, but i dint find so much shitty and sucking n all...
the film was slow and dragging i agree, but the story theme is acceptable... atleast outside india and among the higher societies of india itself.. in the fast pacing run of our life, its hard to work out a marraige and when the ppl at both sides cant take or adjust beyond a limit, this happens.... then what does the increasing number of divorce says??? in india mayb, ppl adjust more and live like that just to make their families happy.. they all mayb happy, but to how much extent is the contentment.. no one speaks out abt it.....
in this film too everyone is happy at times.. all the characters are good.. thinking on the indian old style, we can think like dev and rhea cud have adjusted a bit more, by rhea adjusting a bit more(as kirron kher says) or rishi and maya cud also have lived more happily, if they adjusted a bit more by finding out the others needs... but is this what one really wants of his/her own??? leave the family, society and ppl .. just the individuals....

watched KANK last wednesday
its a "slow paced" and "smwhat okay" kinda movie
its targeted at a specific set of audience and my best guess is that married couples will like this movie and learn a bit frm it. unmarried couples will learn a lot more.
for the rest, there are lots of better things to do than to go and watch this crap

Feedback after watching the movie. Not that bad. Was not a blockbuster but neither was it a damp squib.

The subject would be bit hard to digest for the majority audience. But, would appeal to anyone whose marriage is on the rocks or to folks who accept not all marriages are made in heaven

well, here maya tries to adjust and save the marriage, for 4 years they were into marriage without any prob. but she is not at all happy from inside.. and its said in the film itself..
dev's wounds are shown but maya's are not. at a certain angle, we feel that they cud have adjusted and made a compromise with their spouses and make the marriage finally happy. but that is what a samjhauta is.. not love... there mayb ppl who can find happiness in such a marriage by trying their maximum, and especially in India, these friendships outside marriage will obviously have a limit. and hence they move on..
what is it that people find it sucking in the story? is that cos they believe rishi and ria were good persons and the others eise hi broke off from them? but no one is shown in the film as villains.. in the end, its asked by maya itself to AB that she knows that she was selfish in her own way..everyone in this world are selfish in one or the other way right????

that is what no 1 gets actually... y was maya not happy, in a period of 4 years one can get to know and like a person especially when they are living togther...and it is shown that Rishi tries to adjust as much as he can, but its maya who is the one who wont work up with him.. but no reason to it is given...

well.. tat differs on the perspective of how u understand the characters and their feelings. ya maya can live with rishi for ever, but thats not the life she wants from heart. like AB says in the film, everyone wishes to fulfill their dreams, and doesnt care abt their spouses.. here also the same happened, she got the happiness from dev in the way she wanted... also in the end, maya admits that it was her selfishness to follow dev..
if the same situations was happened before marriage, what wud people name these split-ups? as common na??
concludingly, i m just saying, story is ok.. but need not happen in india.. where after marriage, handling relations is entirely different for them.......
