PLOT

SPOILER WARNING! - Movie Plot - Spoiler Warning !!!
Its a Story of 2 Brothers, Charlie (Lisp/Totla) and Guddu (Stammers/Hakla). Torn apart from their past and so much Hatred for each other that they can even Kill each other. There's action, emotion, drama, political aspirations, drugs all linked with the Twin Brother's tale. Its how they get looped into Underworld, Bookies, Police is the Plot behind this Pot Boiler. Sweety (Priyanka) gets a baby bump and she makes Guddu to marry her that very same evening. He has to marry her, coz she is the Sister of Sunil Shekhar Bhope (Amol Gupte - Taare Zameen Par Fame) who is the Local politician cum thug who swears by Marathi Bana ala Mr. Raj Thackeray (Jai Maharashtra !) Apparently Shahid aka Guddu's real name is Sanjay Kumar Sharma from Barabanki (UP) and all hell breaks loose. The Movie picks up pace from that scene and its a Fun Ride till the End On the other end Charlie steals Narcotics Dept. Captured Cocaine who are in turn trying to sell that Cocaine to Underworld Don Tashi - the great So the Police is on hunt of Charlie. Guddu gets caught by Police and Charlie gets caught by Bhope and rest all should be seen on the screen The Climax is totally chaotic and each characters Kaminey-giri is seen You just have to see it

REVIEW
From theword go the movie grips you and lets you enter the world of Charlie. What he does for living and whom he works wid is best shown and to the point. The movie doesn't take time to let you seep into it and this shows how Vishal Bharadwaj has taken the Old Formula and shown it his way. Its the perfect Bollywood masala potboiler flick you will watch in this year. The screenplay, editing, background music, acting all are top notch and it isn't over the top. Everything what is shown is believable and happens around us.

VB aka Vishal Bharadwaj hasn't treated audience as complete idiot and hasn't given any seperate space for the character to grow on us. Instead the characters grow along the story and you get attached to the characters so much that you think you have known them for long enough to call them Kaminey Faale

But it is not a simple plot to understand too. As Priyanka said, "you definetely have to take your brains with you to watch Kaminey", aptly said PC

It doesn't have loose ends as he has covered every character appropriately. The usage of simple but strong marathi words are good enough for everyone to understand

and surprisingly Priyanka speaks very good Marathi as she is shown a Marathi Girl

Kaminey has another ace up its fleeve, furprife furprife...it's SHAHID KAPOOR, who give's his Best Performance of his Career. He plays Charlie as easily as he slips into Guddu and makes us believe that they really are TWO different characters. His energy level are always high as Charlie and moderate as Guddu, which the characters need. You have to see him act to believe the matured performance he has given. Priyanka Chopra is another surprise in the movie and she performs her Character of Sweety Bhope with ease and maturity. She has come away from her Fashion & Dostana garb and donned a simple Salwar Kameez the whole movie. Amol Gupte as Sunil Shekhar Bhope has done justice to the role of Politician who rants Jai Maharashtra and Hate the North Indians, but never backs out on making Money

The scene in the Trailor of Charlie and the confrontation between Mikhail (Chandan Roy Sanyal) was excellent where there is tension in the air and humour on the screen. Other Characters have Minimal Role but Important and every character in the movie has performed excellent.

MUSIC
VB's Dhan Te Nan is already rage amongst Junta. Other scores are required to continue the story ahead and excellently merged with the story.

RATING
9/10 for an all around entertaining movie which is full Paifa Vafool

BOX OFFICE
The Movie will open to 80 to 90% and will not get that much hit by Delay of release in Mumbai & Pune. It is going Housefull here in UAE, and expect it to be the same all over India & Overseas as this is One of the highly expected releases of the Year and the word of mouth will be positive

Few Scenes which stands out are when Bhope and Mikhail at Charlie's house do the mock gunplay before the biting the bullet is fantastic. The scene where Charlie cries out loud of pain & hatred, after seeing the body of his friend Mikhail, brought by his bookie brothers or even the scene when the twin brothers Guddu and Charlie fight for the 'Guitar'. The one where Guddu confronts Sweety on the way to their honeymoon and after getting bashed by goons of Bhope are excellently done and hits you hard.

Just Go and watch it in a Theater Near You

Coming from Vishal Bhardwaj,this is definitely one movie I was waiting forward to watch

CNN-IBN just showed people coming out of theatres after watching Kaminey..it had a bunch of people saying it was good and another group saying it was pathetic
