Munnabhai MBBS was one hell of a movie, it had perfect balance in terms of comedy and drama, and the acting of all the characters made it a Super Hit. A sequel to the movie wasn't planned initially but after seeing the huge success of the movie, director Vidhu Vinod Chopra decided to work on a sequel which was the one of the most awaited movies this year, and i am happy to say that it was worth the wait.

Story -
The story of the movie portrays another chapter in the life of munnabhai, where munnabhai has fallen in love with the WorldSpace radio announcer Jahnvi and listens to her show everyday. When on 2nd october Jahnvi keeps a contest on Mahatma gandhi, the winner of which would get a chance to meet her and talk n the radio, munnabhai and circuit use hook and crook method and wins the contest. Munna meets Jahnvi and during the course of interview, goes on lying and says that he is a history professor. Jahnvi gets impressed, and call him over to talk with her grandfather and friends about Mahtam Gandhi,who all live together at a small bunglow like in an oldage home.
Munna starts reading everything abt Gandhi which he can find up,
On the other hand, Lucky Singh who is a businessman, uses Munna and Circuit to do his shady work and get various properites vacated etc. He has to vacate a bunglow, which he comes to know is of jahnvi and as Munna likes him , he finds a way to solve his problem, He send munna, jahnvi and all the other old people in the home to Goa, and when they are gone he gets the house vacated and takes over it with all the legal proceedings.
When Munna returns and learns of this plan he goes to Lucky's house and threatens him.
Munna finds another way and starts dealing people's problem without the use of violence over the radio show and requests them to send flowers to his friend Lucky alongwith a Get well soon card. Munna helps a lot of people.
Lucky doesnt budge though, as he wants the house to give it to the builder with whose son, lucky's daughter simran has to be married, and even lies about it.
The event turns upside down when Munna tells Jahnvi his real identity, from here on the movie leads towards a brilliant Happy ending.
Direction
The Direction is top notch, Raj Kumar Hirani doesnt leave and room for error anywhere, he has covered Mumbai as well as Goa beautifully along with the characters emotions and actions perfectly. Raj Kumar Hirani Proves that he is one of the best directors out there.
ScreenPlay
All the characters have played their role to perfection. Munna and circuit ofcourse having the central roles alongwith Boman Irani and Vidya Balan. Even small characters such as of Jimmy Shergill and Dia mirza have been played extremly well.
StoryLine
The Storyline is amzing, it takes all the important stuff from the first movie, such as the dress style the language the sarcastic comments and everything and moulds it into this storyline brilliantly. The story makes u laugh, cry at times and think about the country and its condition also
Music
The Movie hasnt got much songs, there are 4 songs namely Lage raho munnabhai, Ho gya, Pal Pal and the title from the first movie which are fit for the movie and dont feel out of place at all
OverAll
Overall,I would say the movie is Amazing i wasnt expecting such a brilliant sequel, the first one being one of the best comedy movies. But Raj Kumar Hirani makes the sequal stand up next to the first movie in each and every term and even better. Every thing in the movie is just perfect leaving no scope of error what so ever to comment about. The actors play their role well and Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi simple rock the movie like they did the first one. Movie is a Must Watch for everyone, and i would suggest going along with friends and family definatly. Infact i wouldnt mind speding 150 bux again to watch the movie a second time.
