> No Smoking - 2007

The movie starts with a mysterious aura to it and ends with the same.
Director has lost his track a few times along the way, but overall a very different and mysterious storyline helps this movie worht watching once.

Ths story is about K (John Abraham) who is a self indulgant prick, who just doesnt want to quit smoking.
One day his best friend (Ranvir shoree), who has in fact introduced K to smoking, suggests him to visit a "Prayogshala" who would help him quit the bad habit. But after a lot of begging and pleading from his wife,Anjali (Ayesha Takia), and friends, K refuses to go there, until one day Anjali leaves him.

Here is the mystery of the movie starts to unfold. Prayogshala is run by a guy called "Baba bangali Sealdhawale", played by Paresh Rawal.
He gets a contract signed from K. The movie then goes into lot of shocking and thrilling adventures for K and has a really great end as well.

I would say direction is pretty ok. But surprising thing is the performance by John. He has managed to move the muscles on his face than his body for a change. His dialogue delivery is still very poor. Ayesha Takia has given a very poor performance. I think it would have worked very well without her.

Paresh Rawal, has given a typical performance. I think Boman Irani would have played the character better than him.

Music by Vishal Bharadwaj and the lyrics by Gulzar support the movie very well. The background music as well is very good.

Overall I think its worth watching once.
