Anyone who had watched the movie "UNDERWORLD" part 1 which was aired on HBO & star movies would know what we are talking abt the story here...
The part 1 movie dealt with the dispute of Lycans(werewolves) & vampires...
Each of whom were from the bloodline of brothers .
The movie starts with this text -

LEGEND TELLS THAT THE WAR BEGAN WITH TWO BROTHERS,
THE IMMORTAL SONS OF ALEXANDER CONRVINUS
MARKUS , BITTEN BT BAT
BECAME THE BLOOD LEADER OF VAMPIRES
WILLIAM,BITTEN BY WOLF
BECAME THE FISRT AND MOST POWERFUL LYCAN
"Some history is based on truth & some on deception" -
This is the line that covers the whole story..Markus offered his blood to a human initially for help with which the human would become free of sickness,diceases & immortal ,this human was Victor. He offered this to victor on condition that vctor with his army shall help Markus with thatever...
The legend says if the source of the bloodline was killed (destroyed) then all those in the bloodline would be killed...hence victor was a slave to Markus for a few time after which he decided to declare himself as the true source of vampire..
There wont be much fun in watching the movie if i tell all the secret -
This can be regarded as a continuity movie like martix.
If u dont see the previous release it would not be a gr8 movie but a good movie...but the converse ig u had seen the previous part & like it..this is more likely to win completely...
The graphics / sound effect should be seen in a good theatre to really enjoy.
The way the tombs are animated to open & the corresponding sound is marvellous...
CD/DVDs' are not a good choice for this movie.
I never noticed where the time was lost when the movie got over...the movie is ~1.42 hours long.
If the nudity/** is removed it'd come 2 minutes less.
Overall i rate the movie 8/10.
A gr8 movie that i have seen recently..the only release that comes close to this movie as of now is 'da vinci code' that is yet to release in INDIA
(with with a lot of censorship)
