So here we have the third installment of X-men, which unfortunatley didn't get much attention, due to the controversial and hyped up Fanaa and DVC.
The main theme in this movie is about the new "cure" being developed for mutants. Magneto, as expected, is very angry with this, and rounds up his army to destroy this cure. Xavier, however, has other concerns - Jean Gray is back! And she's much more powerful than before, and way more dangerous, as she cannot control her powers anymore.
So, the X-Men have to deal with Magneto, as well as worry about Jean Gray now. Helping them is Beast, who is Secretary for Mutant Affairs

Also, Collosus, Iceman and Kitty are full time X-Men now. However, nightcrawler has dissappeared. Among the bad guys, theres Jaggernaut, multiple clone guy, porcupine guy, and fast moving lady. Pyro has been promoted to Magneto's right hand man.
Bryan Singer is clearly missed here, with new director Brett Ratner valuing SFX over story. There's plenty of action, much bigger effects, but not much serious emoting

Jean Gray doesn't have much to do here. Wolverine, luckily, is in top form, with some nice dialoges. So is Magneto, with a few inspiring speeches.
All in all, its a real TP movie

I caught the matinee show, for just 70 bucks, as opposed to the usual 150/-. So for me, it was total paisa vasool
