Now Balajit roy goes in the hunt of this tycoon to find out the reasons for his punishment and get his revenge.
Impressive storyline it seems , copied from the hit korean movie titled " Old Boy", Zinda falls flat as soon as the mystery is revealed at the starting of second half.
My Take
The direction and camera work is quite fine, but loose at places. Screenplay is fine, sanjay dutt performs beautifully as a tortured person turned heartless killer but as usual other than the 2 central characters, there is not much to do for the supporting actors.
The music of the movie is the only thing thats good, the tracks by Strings and Shibani Kashyap are rocking and are topping the Charts right now.
The movie is gory, the violence is nothing like you would ever get to see in an Indian movie, Various scenes are so violent that its hard to beleive that the sensor board actually allowed them to be shown.
The first half of the movie is quite fine, with a good pace and mix of action and drama, the second half ruins the whole movie and it becomes a torture.
I suggest that this is a movie that you should definatly skip.
Rating : 2/10
(just cause of the good music)
