Member's Weekly Meeting [June 21st]

Hello FEzens,

Staying true to my word, allow me to inaugurate our first Member's Weekly Meeting or MWM as I would refer to it from now on. The Basic idea of this meeting is to get your feedback, suggestions, complaints, opinion etc on the things which will be implemented on FE from here on.





Apart from this, feel free to discuss anything related to FE.

As a Bonus, every member who actively participates in this discussion will be awarded 100 nickels.

Lets Get Started.

Well I like most the sport section especially football!
To improve the least active sections, i think nickels amount per thread should be increased!
Alsi I had a complain! A photo on left side for Story contest is still there while it has ended! so please remove it and also the elections notification of Vote Now which appears on every page while voting is closed

Currently, the Nickels awarded for creating a thread in all the sections except "The Health and Science Section" is 25 and for the latter 50. Agreed that increasing the nickels awarded might bring in more activity but we need quality content and not just spamming. Let me take up this issue with Safin. Any other ideas?

I would personally suggest not so much as new sections but new ideas
Eg i am always game for debates. Sadly there aren't many of them

Debates will be taken care of. Thats a part of my manifesto for this term.

Yes, we don't exactly need new sections but a better organized ones. For Example, The reality bites section doesn't make any sense. Even the artistic photos of flowers or animals are posted there. A better section name would be "Photography".

Well it would be somewhat similar to Travel Escapes then I'm talking about renaming Reality Bites to Photography!

we need to add a new section under "clicked", for photo related threads.

Now, we have reality bites where most of the forwards go, some end up in fun stuff.

Let's say, I want to post "stunning shots of sunset" where do I post? I'd suggest a Photography section for that. I agree it might be similar to Travel escapes. But Let us keep a single thread in photography and make it sticky. In that thread let us link, original photos thread taken posted in "Travel escapes" section.
