Plus the Sufi rumours came a long way after the shooting of the episodes had started. MTV shoots roadies at a go and only airs after all episodes are done. This was the first time they re-shot after 3 months. Raghu mentioned websites spreading rumours which wouldnt have been possible if roadies was shot months ago

Look, I did not spread any rumors. I heard from a very reliable source ( Not some website!!) that Nouman had won. And guess what? My source was right! Like safin said, we knew about Nouman winning the show even before the Australian part was aired on the show, even before he was eliminated in the show. And Nouman did win, didn't he? And even if the finale was shot after 3 months, in all probability it was scripted and the winner was already decided.
We all know that the winner of Roadies gets a chance at hosting a show or some other thing on MTV. That in itself is a reason to choose the winner appropriately. Between Nouman and Palak, I think Nouman will make a better host anyday and thats reason enough to choose him. It happened with Ranvijay, Ayushman, Ashutosh and Bani ( although she was a runner's up ).
Also, they had predecided all tasks in Australia and had booked all places and people months in advance. There was no way they had paid for tasks for 20 people so the last rumour also seems untrue
Again, as safin pointed out, its really stupid to select 20 Roadies only to eliminate 5 of them in the first episode. Even TRP wise, it just doesn't make sense because atleast 3 of those roadies were much better then the likes of Poulami and Devrishi. And by better I mean both in terms of performance and acting. So, it has to be something technical hence the Passport reason seems plausible enough.
Add to that, MTV executive producer goes on TV to say that this is the most popular Roadies ever, i find that hard to believe. Its been one of the worst seasons ever. And hardly generated enough interest as last time.
I agree. The Reason I feel this season was below par was the fact that most of the roadies were not hardcore enough. Infact most of them were barely adults. Also all the hyping just made the show look even more stupid since the content was really weak.
I have watched Roadies 4,5 and 6 and I think Roadies 5 was a major success thanks to some interesting characters and some exciting tasks ( Ladyboy, worm eating, Ledge cutting, Boxing etc. )
