where two of European football's giants meet for the second time in as many weeks..... Chelsea came out on top against FC Barcelona in dere previous meeting on 18 October with Chelsea winning it 1-0 courtsey Dider Drogba.....But dis time around the Group A leaders,Chelsea, were without their star signing of d summer Andriy Shevchenko coz of injury....But Chelsea had an edge as dey had won d previious leg and a a win tonight would assure their path into the Round of 16......Barcelona, meanwhile,after dere poor showin in d champions league and la liga wanted to prov sumtin...

Within seconds of Match gettin underway a foul was committed by Michael Ballack on Anderson Deco...thereby giving Barca a free kick ,wich was taken by Carles Puyol...But sooon within two minutes Barca also gave chelsea a free kick as Michael Ballack was challenged by Messi ..... free kick taken by Frank Lampard from left channel, resulting in open play...Goal kick taken long by Victor Valdes....

Barcelona are in front in spectacular fashion......After Chelsea lost possession in d midfield....Deco punished them, the Portuguese midfielder drifting in from the left before drilling in a right-footed powerful drive from outside the penalty area beyond the dive of Hilário.....!!!!

After tat Goal....two fouls were committed by both teams each[Xavi (Barcelona) Puyol (Barcelona)}yielding nutin much...later a shot by Didier Drogba missed d target....then wen d game resumes fouls continue to flow(Ashley Cole on Messi & Michael Ballack on Ronaldinho )...on 8' Ronaldinho shots frm a cross by Messi but it goes over d bar.....later Messi commits foul on Michael Essien....At 18' Ballack missed d target as his shot was over the bar.....again Fouls startd flowin in Didier Drogba on Van Bronckhorst & Ashley Cole on Rafael Marquez....At 21' Xavi has a shot on goal but was saved by Henrique Hilario....Ronaldinho takes the corner but nutin results ...later Chelsea startd gettting on nerves with Robben committing a foul after & moments later was Robben flagged for offside.... later he was booked also with Lampard also been another culprit for dissent...after dis Chelsea startd hiting at d goal but cud only find d goalkeeper...
....soon bookings startd to flow in with Messi ,Thiago Motta and Cole been de culprits dis time arnd... even though bookings were handed over to others fouls refused to stop..with fouls by Robben,Gudjohnsen,Ballack ,Messi,Essien....
The referee blows for half-time....hadnt he blow it i guessed many more cards wud havebeen in d first half itself....
The second half begins.....
But fouls refuse to stop...Carles Puyol on Didier Drogba been d first in 2nd half...an inswinging corner from left by-line taken right-footed by Frank Lampard to centre was cleared by Giovanni Van Bronckhorst ....after dis Robben misses the target as he tried to hit d goal frm a cross by Frank Lampard but it went ovr d bar...

Out of nothing Chelsea pull themselves up 1 level....Goal by Frank Lampard by turning the ball into the net, over Víctor Valdés' head, from the tightest of angles after it had seemed the chance had gone when he lost control of Michael Essien's throughball.

Just six minutes after losing the lead Barcelona bounce back in front and it is Chelsea's old boy Eidur Gudjohnsen who gave the lead to Barca....D goal had been picked up by Ronaldinho and he sum showed good pace to centre the ball for the Icelandic forward, who had the easiest of chances to tuck it away....

but after sum minutes Gudjohnsen is booked and then Edmílson is also booked for his foul...then Ballack swings into action only to foul two times and not gettin booked...
...then a shot by Eidur Gudjohnsen lobbed over the bar....after dis a string of substitution came up.....

Later on as d game continued....Joe Cole booked for unsporting behaviour.....then Barca got into act and a shot by Anderson Deco drilled missed left...substitution came up dis time for Barcelona Hernandez Xavi replaced by Andres Iniesta.....Chelsea tried to level d scores as cross by Salomon Kalou was shot by Michael Ballack but it missed d target and went over the bar.....and restlessness started to grow and durin dis time John Terry & Essien were booked by the referee for unsporting behaviour....As chelsea were looking for a equaliser...Barca were lookin to seal it...but Giuly had is shot blocked.....

The game wasnt over even though it was 90+2'...coz we were in for a late drama at the Camp Nou as Chelsea snacthed a point frm d Jaws on Barca...Didier Drogba got his fifth goal in four games in the competition this season after Essien's lofted cross was headed back by John Terry for the Ivorian to chest the ball down and finish with his left foot......
