Leander and Mahesh winning the first doubles title at Wimbledon.
A pity they broke up

I won't say cricket as they are overhyped. Hockey cos they never have been consistent. The duo in tennis over very consisten till they lasted.

Well i think the winning 20:20 world cup and Anand winning the World Chess Championship are the best achievments in recent past. I have voted for anand simply because i don't think any indian can actually repeat the performance in the time to come. He was actually undefeated in the whole tournament and was crowned the undisputed champion.
