Do they actually shed blood in WWE?
Guys, I don't know how many of you are WWE fans here, I am
Lol i can't really get it, Its all stage managed we know that. Its all managed by pros. But how the hell do they do the "busted" parts.
It looks as blood. And it looks quite natural too. They don't go somewhere and then blood appears. Its all there on the stage.
If its real, then its unimaginable that people like edge, natureboy can walk on after shedding that much of blood.
How they do it?

Re: Do they actually shed blood in WWE?
Well the answer is actually yes, its real.
Its kinda hard to imagine, and yes the fights are scripted(But you can script as much only, some things that happen are left to wrestlers, the biger moves are all planned)
About blood, a quick search tells me that its common opinion that the guys use razors to cut themselves whih causes blood to gush out. Although that still does not explain the barbed wire(i guess its not a real barbed wire that, and not too sure about fire and all
Here are some quick links for more info
Yahoo! Answers - is the blood in the wwe real or fake?
Is it true that WWE wrestlers cut themselves to make wrestling moves look more realistic? If so, why? - Answerbag.com
Yes they do.
They tend to hide small razor blades in their wrist bands or trunks, and bring them out once their hot and sweaty, cut themselves slightly and use it for effect.
Because when you are hot your blood vessels dilate, so that the blood can get closer to the surface of the skin to release heat, all that is needed is a small cut. Thus it isn't particularly dangerous.
Well irrespective of what everyone says, its not a job for the weak hearted.

Re: Do they actually shed blood in WWE?
Yes, they do, the Method is called "Juicing" a Little blade wrapped in red tape is handed via the ref when the spot arises, before the match, the wrestlers take large amount of Asprin which thins the blood and makes the blood look more than it is. It's a very Brutal method which WWE has been using for more than Ten years. they have to Cut really fast, before the audience or camera can spot it, it's obviosuly painful, a cut which is deep enough for bleeding, further more, everytime they cut, they require stiches, since the cut is usually quite deep and hence it cannot heal by itself. welcome to the world of Sports Entertainment, You're Now officially a Smark

Re: Do they actually shed blood in WWE?
cmon...you dont get that much blood that soon by making a slice with a blade...takes time...
Actually its a combination...They do use blade sometimes to create the wound but they def use blood capsules concealed to make the blood pour instantly.

Re: Do they actually shed blood in WWE?
actually no.
Its quite impossible to use blood capsules in main events.
And evox, its not painful that much. Its not a deep gash. its a small cut. Basically if you are exercising and then cut yourself by even a small amount, blood will gush out but will stop also very soon. Max you have to do is to clean the wound and apply some bandage(thats what they normally do.)
But ofcourse since its all done real time, they can sometimes gash themselves bigger which requires stitches also.
Thats why normally this part is saved for the pay per view events only.
OT: Unforgiven airs this sunday on Ten Sports. Now don't tell what happened i wanna watch hell in the cell

Re: Do they actually shed blood in WWE?
Along with juicing, its also called 'blading'.
Here's what happens :
1. Chairshot
2. Camera's roll out, they show either the crowd, or the opponent.
3. Victim hides his face in his hands, he's blading his forhead.
4. Blood gushes out, camera rolls back, the ref also helps carry out all this.
As for the question, yes, the blood is 100% real. Sometimes, it comes out naturaly too.

Re: Do they actually shed blood in WWE?
Yes the Blood is Real and so r all of the Moves ! Although the Wrestlers Take maximum precautions doing all of the Moves But it still Hurts sometime ! Actually it Reminds me of Great Khali aka Dalip singh .... before he came to WWE he accidently Killed a Guy ( R.I.P ) During a Training Session, Reason for the Death was that Khali had to do a Powerbomb but the Guy was a Noob and so instead of Landing perfectly on His Back , he Landed on His Neck and Died on the spot ! So Yeah although WWE is Pure Entertainment But the Hazards r Real and Therefore should never be tried at Home ! The Only Thing Not Real abt WWE r its Matches as they r already scripted !
OT : Does anybody here Knows what Happened to Khali ? Was he Released ? Is He Still with WWE ? Will he make a comeback ?

Re: Do they actually shed blood in WWE?
@safin
imposs to use capsules?????...lol....101% it is used sir.
Hazards r real for sure....but not as real as they show...most of the time they dont land flush on the oponent. lets be real...if a 250 pound man jumps 10 feet and falls flat on a mans chest his heart will rupture...There are dangers. but the life threatening ones are concealed cleverly...Its so easy to spot the "staged drama" during fights on TV.
