^ Yep, the root cause of trouble in team sports is 'I' over 'V'

The problem with our federations is the drama always unfolds at the last moment either on-field or just before the event starts, which takes morale down even further.

The whole system is corrupt - from sports bodies to gov to coaches to players. It needs some serious overhaulin'

National Tennis Coach says
"I feel let down and frustrated. I fail to understand how a grand slam winner is unable to hold a single serve throughout the match. Mahesh might be struggling for form, but he cant struggle this much. For anyone who knows tennis, its obvious this could not have happened. Chinese Taipei are nowhere in our league. Iam very disappointed"

Paes visibly upset initially talked abt sharing the blame could not hold himself much longer
" I think we have to be honest with ourselves and put the best team forward. As a player and captain I have to rethink our doubles team now. This has been my worst night in 8 years. We need to have a personal one-one conversation"

Paes along with some members of the team had an hour long discussion with the All India Tennis Association President Anil Khanna.

You would expect that Leander having played with Bhupathi so long can surely understand his partners body language and his play better than most...He must be aware if Bhupathi is out of form or out of mind just by looking at him...Also the coach seems to be dead sure that Bhupathi didnt give his best. Everyone there seems to have the same opinion.
Mahesh has avoided the media...In all probability he is out of Indian tennis.

^ Looks bad, its better Mahesh stays out if he is not interested in representing India.

Lets see how the teams are set up for the remaining matches. This sucks

Sad news for this sport... Tennis is not normally dragged into controversies...

AITA has put its foot down and asked Paes & Bhupathi to play together for the next Mens double game.

They are going to smoke the peace pot under duress, a forced marriage which at least should last till the end of Asian Games.

well...the Chinese Taipei duo have a good chance of getting wildcards in some tournaments now...They have beaten a famous doubles team black and blue...

Also Bhupathi better play well now...else he will lose lot of credibility among his peers...Even his foreign partners will feel uneasy playing with such a fussy player.
