WrestleMania 23 is the forthcoming twenty-third annual WrestleMania professional wrestling pay-per-view produced by World Wrestling Entertainment. It is scheduled to take place on April 1, 2007 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. The event will be the first WrestleMania at Ford Field, but the second to take place in the Detroit metropolitan area (following WrestleMania III, where a reported world record setting 93,173 fans filled the Pontiac Silverdome in 1987, 20 years before this scheduled event).

WrestleMania 23 will be a joint-promotion pay-per-view event, featuring performers from the RAW, SmackDown!, and ECW brands. The tagline for WrestleMania 23 is All Grown Up. The theme song for the event is "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva.

Tickets for the event started to go on sale on November 11, 2006. As of February 15, 2007, ticket sales for WrestleMania 23 stand at approximately USD$5 million, with more than 63,000 tickets sold. This makes WrestleMania 23 the highest-grossing pay-per-view in WWE history as well as the highest-grossing event in professional wrestling history, shattering the previous record of USD$3.9 million held at WrestleMania X8.

Bobby Lashley (w/Donald Trump) vs. Umaga (w/Vince McMahon and Armando Alejandro Estrada) (Special Guest Referee)

In this "Battle of the Billionaires", either Trump or McMahon will have his head shaved if his representative loses. There will be a high-stakes Battle of the Billionaires between Donald Trump and Mr. McMahon at WrestleMania 23. ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley (representing Trump) will take on Intercontinental Champion Umaga (representing Mr. McMahon), but bragging rights aren't the only thing at stake. It will also be a bad hair day for either Trump or McMahon, as the winning billionaire will get to shave the losing billionaire's precious hair.Also there will be a Special Guest Refree.Mr. McMahon also announced on SmackDown that on Raw, the WWE Board of Directors will name a special guest referee for the Battle of the Billionaires at WrestleMania. Who will the Board choose to put in the middle of Lashley and Umaga on April 1?



For the third consecutive year, WrestleMania will feature a Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Eight WWE and ECW Superstars will do battle on April 1, and the one who climbs the ladder and grabs the briefcase hanging from the ceiling of Ford Field will earn a guaranteed opportunity at the World Championship of his choice anytime over the next year.

Its Official..!!! Texas RattleSnake a.k.a Stone Cold Steve Austin will be the Special guest referee in the Battle of the Billionaires at WrestleMania 23,elected by the WWE Board of Directors.

On the 5th March Edition of Monday Night Raw,Mr. McMahon was waiting for the person who will be the Special Guest Referee in the Battle of the Billionaires.He was waiting for someone favourable but was dumbfounded as Eric Bischoff, Mick Foley and even Shane McMahon entered the ring to reveal that they were not elected by the WWE Board of Directors as special guest referee....

When everyone was wondering Who will be the Special Guest Referee..?? The Texas Rattlesnake struck...The familiar sound of breaking glass hit and here entered Stone Cold Steve Austin in front of a sold-out crowd at US Airways Center in Phoenix & the question of who would be the special guest referee at WrestleMania 23’s Battle of the Billionaires was definitively answered by his arrival.In true Rattlesnake style,, Austin stormed the ring ,chugged brews and gave his old "buddy" the Chairman Mr. McMahon a complimentary beer bath.

Now the Million Dollar Question remains , With one billionaire’s hair on the line at WrestleMania, will Austin remain impartial? Or, will the desire to see his old nemesis shaved bald skew Stone Cold’s judgment when ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley faces Umaga in less than a month?
