But I wonder what pain that elephant had to go inorder to get trained like that. I've seen some disturbing pictures of elephants getting tortured

Yeah, elephants have enormous intelligence, something that we conveniently forget all too often...

As for animal cruelty, I often wonder what it is that makes us so callous........
