In year 1911, the falls were completely frozen up. Tjios picture shows how it looked then. Such was the case that people were even allowed to walk over the falls, which has now been banned.
ummm u sure they're real?? how can ice be falling likwe water (actual falls) damn cant describe it properly....how can the "arc" be seen...tehre is no water behind it to push it
ever heard of stalactites and stalagmites? these look like those, and take years to form!!!!
nope what you see in the arcs are fine water particles. In extreme cold, the particles freeze like that due to external coldness at night. Inside/behind that you might still see flowing water.
